What a special night! We celebrated the @PovichCenter's 15th anniversary Thursday at our annual Povich Symposium — featuring a conversation between Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Pablo Torre and TV legend Maury Povich!

This year's event added an all-star panel of #merrillmade alumni, including Frank Isola '87, Tim Kurkjian '78, Monica McNutt '13, John Ourand '89 and Jimmy Roberts '79.

It was a wonderful night full of fascinating conversations and intriguing questions. Thank you all who attended! #fearlessjournalism

Maury Povich and Pablo Torre seated on stage in a live interview, smiling and holding microphones beside a sign with the event title, with audience members in foreground and a college journalism banner displayed to the right.

Seven-person panel on stage answers audience questions during the 2026 Povich Symposium, with rows of attendees seated and one person standing to ask a question.

Nine smiling symposium attendees of diverse ages and backgrounds pose together on a stage in front of a black curtain, leaning toward the camera in a celebratory group photo after an event.

Maury Povich and Pablo Torre seated on stage during a live interview, each holding a microphone as the older interviewer hands a note to the guest, with audience silhouettes in the foreground and an event poster visible behind them.
