About Twitxy
Twitxy is an independent, read-only frontend for public content on X. Paste a profile handle or a post link and it renders the result as plain, fast HTML.
What it does
- Fetches public profile pages and posts that X already serves to logged-out visitors.
- Normalizes them into a compact, semantic layout with no app shell or JavaScript framework.
- Proxies images and videos through this site so your browser does not talk to X directly.
What it does not do
- No sign-in, no account, no posting, no liking, no following.
- No analytics, advertising, or third-party scripts.
- No access to protected accounts, direct messages, or private data.
Limits
X controls what its logged-out pages include. Timelines can be shorter than what signed-in users see, replies may be missing, and some accounts or posts may be unavailable. When a page cannot be read, Twitxy says so instead of showing a blank screen.
Rate limits and caching
Responses are cached briefly to reduce load on X, and each client is limited to a modest number of page loads per minute. Media requests have a separate, higher limit.
Twitxy is not affiliated with X Corp. All posts and media belong to their authors.
