In March 2025, Helen Born was diagnosed with CLN2 Batten disease, a rare, neurodegenerative, fatal disease with no cure.

Meyer Shank Racing's Chief Operating Officer, Tim Meyer, is Helen's godfather and a member of the board of directors for Helen's Pink Sky Foundation (HPSF). It's a personal connection that has brought the racing community together in support of Helen and her family.

United by a shared passion for racing and a purpose far greater than anything on the track, we're proud to stand alongside Helen, her family, and HPSF in the fight for a cure. This is for Helen. And every child fighting Batten disease.
