My favorite story that I've written in 3 decades of journalism.

Coach Patty Gasso allowed me to do an in-depth interview:

*How she met her husband Jim Gasso

*Her mom's fight vs Alzheimer's

*Her $1.6 million salary

*How does she relax?

*How long will she coach?

Who is Patty Gasso? She is more than wins and records. She's developed hundreds of young girls into women who have become community leaders, coaches and mothers with @OU_Softball. Read @EricBaileyTW's story on the best coach of college softball's best team tulsaworld.com/sports/college…

The last time I covered an #OkState game with that late of a kickoff was 2011.

OSU at Tulsa was scheduled for a 910pm start. Severe thunderstorms pushed the kick back to 1216am

@KKlintworth & @glang1, promise me good weather in Stillwater this Saturday. 🤣

Craziest stat that describes #OkState's productivity on offense against K-State.

The Cowboys scored 9 touchdowns and only faced 8 third-down situations in the game.

K-State coach Collin Klein on Drew Mestemaker: "That's as good a quarterback as I've played against."
