PLive Card of the Day Number 152: A 2018 Topps Chrome Pink Refractor of Kenta Maeda

Maeda, now 38 years old, has been pitching professionally since the age of 20. After the better part of a decade of success in Japan's NPB, the right-hander joined the Dodgers in 2016, and he finished third in National League Rookie of the Year voting after posting a 3.48 ERA over 175.2 innings of work. Maeda would go on to pitch for three teams (LAD, DET, MIN) over nine MLB seasons before returning to Japan, where he continues to pitch for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles.

Fun fact: Maeda was the seventh Japanese player to suit up for Los Angeles, and five more have done so since his 2016 debut 馃嚡馃嚨

PLive Card of the Day Number 151: A 1992 Score All-Star of Barry Bonds

Though most often remembered for his time in San Francisco, Bonds actually began his career with Pittsburgh. The Pirates selected him sixth overall in the 1985 MLB draft, and he would debut for them in the majors the very next year. Bonds would go on to win the first two of his seven career MVP awards with Pittsburgh before leaving to join the Giants, the same team that his father Bobby spent seven seasons playing for

Fun fact: Bonds is also a distant cousin of "Mr. October," the one and only Reggie Jackson

PLive Card of the Day Number 150: A 2011 Topps Opening Day Presidential First Pitch of President Barack Obama

On Election Day, it is only fitting that we use the 150th COTD to throw it back to the 2009 All-Star Game, when President Obama threw out the first pitch in St. Louis. As his jacket indicates, our nation's 44th president is a fan of the Chicago White Sox, in addition to being a southpaw.

Trivia time: Which Cardinals legend caught President Obama's ceremonial first pitch?
