Redwire has been selected by @NASA to provide a Roll-Out Solar Array (ROSA) solution for the agency's @NASAMoonBase lunar surface power demonstration program.
The selection comes just days after astronauts successfully installed and deployed the eighth and final Redwire built ROSA wing on the @Space_Station. Now, Lunar ROSA will bring that proven technology to the Moon, powering sustained operations on the lunar surface.
Backed by decades of space power experience, Redwire's integrated power generation system will begin to address a fundamental requirement for a sustainable presence on the Moon: dependable power where and when missions need it.

Completing a historic effort with @BoeingSpace and @NASA, the fourth and final pair of Redwire's Roll Out Solar Array (ROSA) wings has been successfully deployed on the @Space_Station by Nasa Astronaut @astro_anil and Candian Space Agency Astronaunt @Astro_Kutryk following U.S. spacewalks 100 & 101 on October 27 and November 5.
Each ROSA wing provides 20+ kW of power for over 10 years, and all eight wings combined will provide more than 160 kW.
ROSA's success on the ISS has set the stage for future missions on the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
