Taking care of your taxes as a professional gamer will only get more important in the upcoming years.
I know it’s difficult and takes time but please make sure you are well informed when declaring your taxes. Hopefully the consequences will be limited for Aleksib.

🚨 NAVI's Aleksib is facing a possible FOUR-MONTH suspended prison sentence in Finland over alleged aggravated tax fraud, according to Iltalehti!
Prosecutors claim he failed to declare over €53,000 in income received from Valve in 2019, resulting in more than €28,000 in unpaid taxes.
Aleksib admits the income wasn't declared but denies deliberately evading taxes. His defence argues that the money came from Counter-Strike sticker sales and that, at the time, he didn't understand it was taxable income.
The court is expected to deliver its verdict at a later dateView quoted post on X
