This week was my last at @Blockworks

When I joined in early 2025, Blockworks was already one of the most respected names in crypto research. In under two years I watched the company bring Messari into the fold, launch a new product suite, and turn the Token Transparency Framework from an idea into a disclosure standard that now reaches Bloomberg terminals.

The research team set a bar for rigor I'll carry with me everywhere. I also got to build alongside some of the sharpest people in crypto. Thank you to everyone who made it such a great place to learn and build.

As for me, I’m taking a moment and then looking for what’s next: somewhere I can be a Swiss Army knife across research, data and product.

Gigawatt campuses carry election risk now, but middle-market GPU deals land in existing powered shells.

NexGen was $106M for 1,728 GPUs at an existing Tier III site

The midterms won’t stop the AI buildout, but they will shift who gets financed.

Political risk for gigawatt GPU megadeals just went up. Oracle’s roughly 2.5 GW Project Jupiter has faced lawsuits and two state rejections of its gas pipeline. The roughly $18B of debt tied to it was reported trading at stressed levels.

The best risk-adjusted opportunity is now the Compute Middle Market: $25M to $500M deals.

Hard to explain how much this has changed the way I do research until you try it.

Questions that used to mean an hour of pulling dashboards and cross-checking sources now take one prompt.

Plug it in and ask it something you'd normally spend an afternoon on.

This letter is very TTF coded.

'Where does the value go' is the question the Token Transparency Framework is built to answer.

We already put together a Kamino page from public info.

We compiled a version from public sources, but right now KMNO's only documented right is the staking reward boost.

A filed TTF is the cleanest way to put it on the record.

@kamino, the door's open.

Today, I’m sharing my first letter to the KMNO community as CEO

Since joining @kamino , I’ve been asked a version of the same question by longtime KMNO holders and people getting to know us for the first time. As Kamino grows, where does the value we create go?

It’s a fair question, particularly as we work to bring Kamino into banks, brokerages and wallets, through which our goal is to allow millions of people to earn on their capital or borrow against assets they already own.

The answer starts with how Kamino was built. The Kamino Foundation owns the intellectual property and receives all revenue, including revenue from institutional partnerships. KMNO is the only token. The founders, our investors, the team and I have our upside tied to the same token our community holds. None of us has a separate equity allocation.

What we do with the revenue matters, too. We’re committing at least $20 million over the next two years to expand the assets people can use on Kamino, and bring Kamino's credit and liquidity infrastructure to more of the platforms consumers already use today.

I wrote my first letter to KMNO holders to put those decisions on the record. I also share why I chose to make most of my own KMNO allocation vest only when it reaches and sustains a series of valuation milestones.

One Kamino. One KMNO.
