The Answer responded from an 0-2 deficit with game 3 and game 4 victories at the Amarillo College World Series.

This year’s AC World Series was the first to reach a fifth game since AC’s athletics reboot in 2022.
The Answer secured a 13-7 game three win on Oct. 14 before forcing a game five on Thursday with a 16-9 victory.

Freshman Roman Martinez was TA’s starter on the hill for games three and four. The Aledo native struck out six batters across seven innings between the victories against a high-octane El Fuego squad.

In the pair of victories, Rowin Donaldson and Aiden McNulty tied for a team-high hit total (4). Donaldson, a returning sophomore all-star selection, hit the team’s lone homer and tied Tell Bryant for a team-best five RBIs.

Bryant and McNulty recorded one triple each while Tristan Ciechanowicz notched a team-best three doubles.

El Fuego is on a heater.

Brittain Urbaniak ended game two in the fifth inning with a run-rule walk-off homer – his second long ball of the series.

Colton McClure and Zach Wanoreck also went yard for EF on Tuesday to bring the team’s homer total to eight at the AC World Series.

A pair of freshmen from the Panhandle combined for the win on the hill. Dumas native Blake Robinson notched four strikeouts, three walks, and three earned runs across three innings.

Amarillo native Noah Vasquez had one strikeout, no walks, and one earned run across the final two frames.
