Alan Wilson

Today, I announced our transition team at Reeley’s Body Shop in West Columbia, where I got my first job washing cars.

That first job taught me the value of hard work, responsibility and accountability. Now, as I prepare for my next job as South Carolina’s 118th governor, those same principles will guide our administration.

We’re bringing together a new generation of conservative leadership to put South Carolina families first, make life more affordable and bring real reform to state government.

The hard work starts now.

WATCH: My full remarks from today’s transition team press conference.

The election is over. Now it's time to get to work.

My priorities are clear: make South Carolina more affordable, our economy more prosperous, and our government more accountable.

I won't promise to be a perfect governor, but I promise to be an accessible, accountable governor who will always fight for you and your family.

Our future is bright, South Carolina. Let's get to work!

THANK YOU, SOUTH CAROLINA!

Senator Mike Reichenbach and I are incredibly humbled and honored to have earned your trust to serve as your next Governor and Lieutenant Governor!

From the very beginning, this campaign has been about putting South Carolina families first, restoring accountability to government, and building a brighter future for the next generation.

To our families, volunteers, supporters, and every South Carolinian who put their faith in us: THANK YOU!

Now, the real work begins. We will be a Governor and Lieutenant Governor for ALL South Carolinians, and we will work every single day to earn the trust you've placed in us.

God bless you, and God bless the great state of South Carolina!
