Some words from Senator Whitehouse from this past Get Out the Vote weekend that meant a lot to me. We all have to be focused and determined in this fight, and with only one day to go till Election Day, I’m grateful to have the support of a Senator who has proven himself to be a fierce fighter for our state, not only in Washington but as a former Rhode Island Attorney General himself.

As Attorney General, Kim will support diversion programs that connect people struggling with mental illness and addiction to the care they need, while maintaining accountability and keeping our communities safe.

That means continuing partnerships among courts, law enforcement, treatment providers, and community organizations, so Rhode Islanders get timely access to care, treatment, and support.

Evidence-based diversion helps people rebuild their lives.
