Extremely hilarious.
Dan Osborn doesn't have an authentic bone in his body. Good chance he would have won if he ran as the Democrat he is.

It's pretty hilarious that Dan Osborn should have just run as a Democrat instead of pretending he's an IndependentView quoted post on X

Big problem with this line -- the vast, vast majority of Kalshi trades are sports, "exotics" (aka Parlays), and 15-minute crypto markets.
Politics and current events, hardly a drop in the bucket.
Note the retail losses column. You WILL lose your money if you play on Kalshi

FWIW, I – like scholars ranging from Philip Tetlock to Kenneth Arrow to Daniel Kahneman – believe that there are positive externalities to prediction markets (more widely available accurate information, the ability to hedge against future events, e.g.), and that they work differently than actual betting markets. That doesn’t mean people can’t and don’t abuse them. But people do the same with day trading, and that doesn’t mean the stock market is the same thing as DraftKings.View quoted post on X
