See you on the front lines, Commanders. o7 #SaveMassEffect

Please hold off on official Mass Effect merch right now.

Every sale tells EA that Mass Effect makes money sitting in the vault, with no new game, no studio, no risk. That’s the opposite of what we’re fighting for.

And it’s not even a good deal. Some items cost about 40% more than they did in 2023.

"I'm not a fan of ethical consumption," this isn't ethical consumption. This is a targeted boycott: one company, one goal, holding off until EA gives Mass Effect a future. It’s about leverage. That’s how boycotts have always worked.

Want something Mass Effect in the meantime? Support fan artists on Etsy, VGen, or Ko-fi who love the series. Your money goes to real people, and EA gets nothing out of it.

“What about the artists?” In most cases, they were already paid. Official merch art is usually work-for-hire, paid upfront, and the BioWare artists whose work is on these products don’t see a cent from new sales. Holding off doesn’t take anything from them. It only takes from EA.

Your choice, always. But if you can wait, please do so. Especially because of the price gouging. #SaveMassEffect
