The South Florida high school football community is such a special group.

As ridiculously competitive as it is, I received many calls today from opposing schools’ coaches wishing me luck with the Carol City case. Some of these guys compete against Carol City.

Always fierce opponents on the field but a band of brothers off of it. All in for the kids! #DadeCounty

Miami circuit judge Antonio Arzola has reviewed the motion for an emergency temporary injunction and has denied Miami Carol City’s request.

The Chiefs are OUT of the FHSAA postseason.

I have tremendous respect for the FHSAA, but I think that what they did to Miami Carol City Football by imposing a post season ban on the entire team, which includes many kids who did nothing wrong, is overreaching and unfair.
