Ten years ago yesterday, Teddy Bridgewater went down.

We’ve spent weeks talking to former Vikings players and staffers about a day that changed the franchise. Many of them remember all of it: what they saw, what they felt and how bravely Bridgewater responded: startribune.com/minnesota-viki…
www.startribune.com This injury ‘changed the entire trajectory’ of the Vikings. Is Kyler Murray finally their answer? Vikings injury report for Monday night:

—Kyler Murray, Jauan Jennings and Demond Claiborne are out for Monday night. Jay Ward and Theo Jackson will be questionable.

—Jennings and Claiborne were both injured in the Thursday practice. Claiborne’s knee injury will keep him out for some time, though O’Connell said he didn’t think it would necessarily be season-ending or require surgery.

—The Vikings will consider elevating a WR (possibly Odell Beckham) for Monday night.

Justin Jefferson talked with reporters for about eight minutes Thursday, after not speaking after the game on Sunday. He said his frustration was because “I never want to lose, no matter how the game goes for for myself. I felt like we had plenty of opportunities to win that game, and we only hurt ourselves in multiple ways. So it's just wanting better from the whole entire offense, especially.”

Jefferson said the Vikings have confidence in Kyler Murray, and that he’s seen growth from the QB this year. “I feel like the plays that are there are plays that he's capable of making,” he said. “Those are plays that we've seen him make multiple times throughout the season, throughout practice, and in training camp as well. We have confidence in him to go out there and be that guy that we need him and want him to be. It’s just executing our plays and coming ready to play.”

Jefferson is in Year 7, still looking for his first playoff win since his time at LSU. “Losing hits deeper than anything else. And I think I love this game a lot more than a lot of other people in this league. I don't care if we're 15-1. You know, I don't want to lose a single game, and that's just my mindset. And that's always how I have been ever since I was a little kid. as I got older, the the tears kind of shied away, and you know, more more of a grown man. But I hate to lose.”

Christian Darrisaw will practice today for the Vikings, Kevin O’Connell said.

Theo Jackson won’t be out there today with his quadriceps injury; if the Vikings need to play without him on Monday night, they could turn to Jacob Thomas alongside Harrison Smith and Josh Metellus.
