More takes. Less waiting. More room for the idea you almost didn’t try.

mischief 1 is here. Go make something.

today, we introduce a little mischief to the world.

for four years, we’ve been brewing real brain cells on electrodes to understand how they compute. now, we’ve turned those discoveries into a video model anyone can use.

from 0.5¢ a second, mischief 1 is at least 5x faster than its base and the cheapest image-to-video model on @fal and @OpenRouter. soon to be on @awscloud marketplace.

it’s not a delusion anymore. biocompute is real, commercial and this is just the beginning.

happy halloween.

What happens when you take the cost and time constraints out of creativity? @JustinHackney33 gives us a glimpse of what's possible.

2,511 clips. five seconds each. 720 p.

$125.55 total.

that’s what @JustinHackney33 of @WonderStudiosX, who made our launch film, generated with mischief 1. generating that much video with wan 2.2 would cost about $1,017.

the point isn’t just cheaper video. it’s the freedom to follow an idea without rationing every take.

@JustinHackney33 came to our lab to see where it starts.

I got the chance to work on the landing page for a new video model from a lab that grows real brain cells.

insanely cheap at half a cent a second.

had a lot of fun creating three.js concepts with opus 5.5. here's my workflow.
