Over the offseason I officially stepped into a new role as General Manager & Head Coach of Cloud9 New York. ☁️🩵
I’ve never been one to toot my own horn, but over the last few days, I’ve had the chance to reflect on my journey and how I got here.
In 2020, I attended CDL London as a fan. In late 2021, COVID gave me the opportunity to chase what felt like a pipe dream.
Vanguard: Challengers World Champion
MW2: LAG – Analyst
MW3: LAG – Assistant Coach
BO6: C9NY – Assistant Coach
BO7: C9NY – Head Coach
MW4: C9NY – GM & Head Coach
Along the way, I’ve worked with people I once looked up to, players who’ve become superstars and champions, veterans who’ve reinvented themselves, and the next generation finding their feet. I’ve also been fortunate to learn from some of the brightest minds & coaches in esports, both competitively and behind the scenes.
This offseason was a war, but I’m incredibly proud of the squad we’ve assembled and excited for what’s ahead.
A huge thank you to @JackEtienne for his continued trust, everyone behind the scenes at Cloud9 for their support, especially @C9Vincent.
The sheer amount of barriers I've had to overcome have been daunting to say the least. To help lead one of the most historic and iconic organisations in esports is a privilege I’ll never take lightly.
Truly on Cloud9. ☁️🩵
