Recruiting has a funny way of exposing how badly you actually want something.

It’s easy to say you’re doing everything you can.

The harder question is whether the person staring back at you in the mirror would agree.

Don’t cheat the man in the glass.

I've coached at every level of college football, and one thing remains true:

The challenge isn't talent or exposure alone.

It's knowing where to look, who to contact, and how to position yourself effectively.

That's where a plan makes all the difference.

Recruiting is not a one-time event. It's a process.

The players who give themselves the best chance are the ones who stay consistent:
• Improving their game
• Communicating with coaches, updating film. Small actions repeated over time create results.

College coaches are looking for more than highlights.
They want to know:
• Can you be coached?
• Will you represent the program well?
• Can they trust you?
Talent gets attention.
Character and consistency help earn opportunities.
