One thing about Travis that I have a ton of respect for is that he actually listened to the wisdom he was given and went to work.
He recognized that the value of the opportunity was bigger than money itself.
He didn’t care what anyone thought of him, he bet on himself, Coach Prime and made history!

Travis Hunter reveals to Ja'Marr Chase how Coach Prime talked him out of going to Florida State and flipped to Colorado last second; Deion Sanders promised he could play both sides of the ball if he earned it
Travis: "That transfer process was kind of weird. At the same time, I had too much respect for Coach Prime, so even going out there and exploring my options just a little bit, I felt like it was kind of disrespectful. Everyone was like, 'Oh yeah, he's definitely going to Colorado, he's definitely going to Deion' and stuff like that. But I also did a little exploring.”
Ja’Marr: "When I seen you going there, I honestly was...'What the hell is he doing?' I'll be honest. I'm just saying 'cause that's some shit that...the best number one recruit coming out of high school and he goes into a college that's not usually the top Power 5 program... and you went there—that should have had me like, 'What the fu*k!? Why he, you know?' And... man, that was... that was... that was the craziest story for real though..." 👀
Travis: “I tried to see what was out there for me, but at the end of the day, I was just like, man, I got too much respect for him."
"He came and got me to not go to Florida State and changed my mindset, changed the picture of everything. He really changed my life, for real. When I made that news, man, my followers and everything just went up from there."
"I didn't care about the money and how could they get me there, what they could do for me when I get there. I wanted to know if I could play both sides of the ball. That's the only question I had for him. I didn't care about the money, I wanted to know if I could play both sides."
