A5) I actually focus more of my time on new/devo groups. The better foundation they have the more comfortable I feel about sport coaches just watching intensities/bar speed with returners. Might be a little counterintuitive but I’m thinking years ahead #ironspeedchat

A4) Fluctuating KPIs and standards, “high tide raises all boats” but some “boats” fall out of the average and it changes from year to year. New standards hope to aim for new growth when it comes to more advanced groups. Preach habit building if they plan to play in college

A3) I used to be hesitant on progression if it felt like the group wasn’t exemplary. But now I’m more of a trial by fire. Time is limited try progression and kids realize they might need mediation to need the demands of progressions. Helps support need for regressions

A2) Program their needs first when it comes to movement quality even if that means regressions. Preach both short and long term gains to the athlete because sometimes they think a step back is regression in overall skill not individual need. #ironsoeedchat
