Humility & confidence can easily coexist. In this college football space I’m humble enough to realize that I can be replaced, but, I’m confident enough to realize that no one can do what I do, in the way I do it. Don’t dim your light for anybody. Lean into the gifts God gave you.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to the SMU fans & the TV viewing audience. Anyone that knows me and knows that I LOVE @KnightYamir but the boy can’t dance! I’m sorry that you all were exposed to that. We were unaware that he was going to showcase his lack of rhythm & goofy moves. It was shocking yet oddly captivating. We will do better.

Did I mention our baton twirler lit her baton on fire?!?!? I thought I was at a dang luau! I stopped paying attention to the game and started looking for the roast pig!!! I have pretty severe ADD so as awesome as that was, it threw me off for a good 10 minutes! LOL

Young coaches take notes: DO NOT believe the examples you see of coaches, putting themselves first & treating people poorly. You can succeed BIG in this industry by treating people, right, putting others first, having fun, not taking yourself too seriously & REALLY loving on players. Karma will reward you in the long run! I have the receipts.
