This time last year I was getting told I wasn’t ready to be a head coach, & mainly negativity once hired. Fast forward a year later, & my baby girl called to tell me daddy made @dctf 40 under 40 coaches in the state, & the 🦁’s are predicted 1st in district. BET ON YOU ‼️🙌🏾

I love it. No looking in the stands for what parents think, taking the coaching, no parents saying coach should control his emotions confusing passion for anger, no you’re embarrassing him, that’s too hard on him, and best part….. he responded, didn’t pout the rest of game.

Facts. Why I’m a fan of who he is in a world filled with soft players and parents, be more like Kirby.

At HS level his coaching gets you in parent meetings saying you’re too hard on them & take the joy out of it. So be careful lol. Jk, do it anyways, they’ll understand later.

Every clip you see of Kirby Smart on the sideline he is coaching his ass off. Constantly communicating to a player rather the play resulted in a plus or a minus 💯
