CFN'S NOVEMBER 10 FORECAST β€’ BATCH 5/5
CFN Nos. 21–25 | November 8 weekend edition

21. Arizona (7–2) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 22
Arizona survived TCU 29–28 on Friday to reach 7–2. Its decisive Cincinnati win remains part of the case. Road losses to BYU and Texas Tech keep Arizona behind both, supporting a modest rise from the prior committee No. 22.

22. LSU (6–3) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 14
LSU's 31–13 home loss to Alabama is its third defeat. Wins over Auburn, Clemson and Texas A&M keep the Tigers in the conversation, but head-to-head losses to Ole Miss, Kentucky and Alabama place LSU behind all three.

23. South Carolina (6–3) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 21
South Carolina beat Texas A&M 17–9 and also owns wins over Tennessee, Florida and Oklahoma on the road. That collection edges Missouri in a close 6–3 comparison. Three losses keep the Gamecocks near the bottom of our Top 25.

24. Missouri (6–3) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 18
Missouri drops after losing 34–20 at home to Texas. The 45–17 Florida win retains value, but the earlier heavy Ole Miss loss also matters. At 6–3, Missouri sits behind South Carolina's stronger collection of wins.

25. Duke (7–2) | Official CFP Nov. 3: unranked
Duke's 41–3 road win at NC State adds to a win at Illinois. The stronger top wins and Boston College common-opponent comparison give Duke the edge over SMU. Duke enters our forecast at No. 25; the official November 3 list did not rank it.

First four out: SMU 7–2, New Mexico 8–1, Memphis 7–2, Oklahoma State 6–3.

CFN is independent. These comparisons include the Nov. 7 results; the official Nov. 3 list predates them. This is a working forecast, not our pre-reveal lock or the Nov. 10 committee result.

CFN'S NOVEMBER 10 FORECAST β€’ BATCH 3/5
CFN Nos. 11–15 | November 8 weekend edition

11. Alabama (7–2) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 5
Alabama's 31–13 road win at LSU strengthens a resume that includes Kentucky and South Carolina. Our No. 11 is lower than the prior committee No. 5 because losses to Georgia and Tennessee matter, especially Tennessee's head-to-head win.

12. Texas Tech (8–1) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 15
Texas Tech remains 8–1 after surviving West Virginia 53–48 at home. The Arizona win gives Tech an edge over Wake Forest. The Cincinnati loss and the stronger top wins of teams above it keep this from being an automatic leap.

13. Wake Forest (8–1) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 16
Wake Forest is 8–1 after beating Merrimack 77–0, but the FCS rout adds little to the best-win comparison. Miami remains its only loss. The overall record earns No. 13, with Texas Tech's Arizona win separating those neighboring teams.

14. Oregon (6–3) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 23
The 41–28 win at Ohio State joins a road victory over USC and wins over Boise State and Northwestern. That is substantial evidence for a rise from the prior official No. 23. Three losses, including a two-point UCLA defeat, temper it.

15. Kentucky (7–2) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 6
Kentucky's 34–6 loss at Tennessee follows a heavy defeat to Alabama. The overtime win over LSU retains value, and 7–2 remains a good record. Those direct comparisons, however, make the prior official No. 6 difficult to sustain in our new board.

CFN is independent. These comparisons include the Nov. 7 results; the official Nov. 3 list predates them. This is a working forecast, not our pre-reveal lock or the Nov. 10 committee result.

CFN'S NOVEMBER 10 FORECAST β€’ BATCH 4/5
CFN Nos. 16–20 | November 8 weekend edition

16. Ohio State (6–3) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 12
The 41–28 home loss to Oregon gives Ohio State three defeats. Road wins at Indiana and Iowa still support a ranking. Head-to-head losses to USC and Oregon place both above the Buckeyes in our current order.

17. Houston (7–2) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 17
Houston adds a 31–24 win over Cincinnati and remains 7–2, with a close road loss at Utah providing context. We retain the committee's prior No. 17 slot. Ohio State stays narrowly ahead because its best wins carry more weight.

18. Iowa (7–2) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 19
Iowa's 24–10 win at Northwestern joins a road win at Washington and a 30–0 victory over Wisconsin. Those results support No. 18. The Ohio State head-to-head loss keeps Iowa below the Buckeyes despite having fewer defeats.

19. Boise State (8–1) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 25
Boise State is 8–1 after a 64–38 win at Colorado State, with Memphis and a road win at Fresno State also on the resume. The lone Oregon loss has context. Iowa's stronger road wins keep Boise just behind at No. 19.

20. Ole Miss (6–3) | Official CFP Nov. 3: No. 10
A 42–7 home loss to Georgia requires a substantial drop from the prior official No. 10. Wins over LSU, Missouri and Auburn still make a Top 25 case. The LSU head-to-head result keeps Ole Miss above the Tigers.

CFN is independent. These comparisons include the Nov. 7 results; the official Nov. 3 list predates them. This is a working forecast, not our pre-reveal lock or the Nov. 10 committee result.
