If security is nobody's problem, then it's everyones problem.
If your company makes money using Ethereum, some of these initiatives will make business sense for your company.
If we really want our industry to grow, let's stop security incidents

so if we want ethereum to win (first we need to survive, tbh lol), we need to fund its security. there are no shortcuts here guys. onchain security is everyone's problem, not someone else's job. TheDAO Security Fund (where i'm a curator, so yes, i'm totally biased) has a number of open security initiatives that deserve your attention and, more importantly, your funding. if your protocol depends on ethereum security work getting done, put in 10-15% and let TheDAO Security Fund help raise the rest. it's a lot cheaper than funding the entire thing yourself. and pledges are only collected once an initiative is fully funded. no free-riding. no money collected for initiatives that don't make it.View quoted post on X
my personal top two picks are (remember i'm biased obviously so go thru them by yourself :)):
- formally verified Vyper compiler (initiatives.thedao.fund/initiative/vyp…)
- production-ready local-first Safe UI (initiatives.thedao.fund/initiative/pro…)
ethereum's security won't fucking fund itself. stop treating it as somebody else's problem. put some skin in the game.
