I stand with Congresswoman LaMonica McIver today. In difficult moments, you learn who truly stands beside you. I want her to know she is not standing alone. We stand with her, believe in her, and will continue to support her through this difficult chapter.

Relieved to hear the President, his wife, and the entire cabinet are safe. We commend the swift actions of our law enforcement officers who helped stop what could have been a devastating tragedy. The rule of law in the United States must always prevail.

We’ll continue monitoring the situation. Please stay safe and use caution.
