Laziness, or lack of DD into new narratives can be extremely costly.
I've always been an avid fan of participating in novel chains, experiments, games, etc.
So many are fading Elysium still, but once everyone realizes the potential, it will all have been seen as so obvious in retrospect.
@AscendLaunch will be the home of PvE plays.

laziness cost me 10M+ on $PONS and another 8M+ on $AI at ATH prices.View quoted post on X
I remember seeing $PONS at a 90K mcap when @remusofmars aped in, but I didn't bother looking into it. I was too caught up in how bad market conditions were at the time and thought we didn't need another L2
then @theunipcs hard shilled $PONS with his full thesis at 4M, and I still faded it
It ended up being an 8fig fumble. same story with $AI
the opportunity cost of laziness can be extremely expensive.
don't let laziness or your own biases stop you from seizing new opportunities when they present themselves.
Elysium could be another L2 flop, but if it isn't, you miss out on millions.

Genuinely speechless, all these crazy developments happening is absolutely insane for the @Enter_Elysium trenches
@AscendLaunch will become the home of PVE plays.
Huge respect to @smartestmoney, one of the legends & a top holder of $HYPE & kinetiq:native.

PSA to all of the Ascend and Elysium community.
I keep seeing a lot of posts about the friction Ascend created when we launched so I wanna speak on that myself. If I’d spent weeks getting a community off the ground and woke up to a copy of our coin trading on Ascend, I’d be pretty annoyed too. So I do see where a lot of your guys frustration comes in. Stay with me here.
Ascend is a fully permissionless launchpad. Anyone can go on the site and launch whatever they want without talking to me or anyone on the team. We never set out to vamp another project or pull people away from a community they’d already built.
One of the coolest parts of this past week has been seeing people rally around Blob, e/acc, chameleon. Some not launched on Ascend, and I’m still hyped to see it. Elysium hasn’t even officially launched yet and people already have a community here they care enough about to defend. These are the vibes we need to bring back to crypto.
A lot of you guys know me from when I was apart of Azuki community. Half the time you knew who was tweeting just from their PFP. I miss that. In crypto now it feels like people are already asking “what’s next?” before they’ve even gotten to know the people in the coin they just bought. A big reason we built Ascend was to keep supporting projects after launch and give those communities time to grow.
I also want to clarify about why we were quiet when trading started. We were asked to hold off on saying Ascend was live during private testing. The plan was always to deploy on Elysium early so we could test the protocol and integrate partners ahead of November 9. People figured out how to bridge in and started trading. We can't control who bridges in, but I also get how it looked from your side. You could see trades going through and you hadn’t heard a word from us.
The Ascend model is fully built on giving value back to you guys. We believe that to many top protocols in the space rip so much value from the ecosystem and give very minimal value back. Ascend wants to make the change that we all wanna see happen so bad in our industry.
The team and I have put a lot of late nights into Ascend. I’m proud of what we’ve built and I can’t wait for you guys to get your hands on the full product when Elysium officially launches on November 9.

I still don’t like the way @AscendLaunch decided to launch.View quoted post on X
But the more I look at the bigger picture, the more I think they’re actually playing the right game.
They’ve always made it clear that their goal is to help tickers reach Hypercore.
And unlike other launchpads, they don’t have their own token to pump.
Their fees go towards kinetiq:native buybacks, directly aligning their success with the ecosystem.
No token means a much higher ceiling for coins on the pad and no need to overmilk launches and endless pvp just to generate fees and keep their own project alive. It’s just a nice add for kinetiq:native.
Also, you can clearly see the difference between teams spending their cash on KOLs and teams actually using it to secure Hypercore tickers and contribute to the ecosystem.
I genuinely think securing the Hypercore ticker for $e/acc was a genny move.
Especially considering that despite everyone FUDding the launch, the coin barely dipped.
Outside of the big hands, almost nobody has an average entry below $700K–$1M mcap.
I think there’s still a lot of room to run.
Of course, it all depends on whether Elysium actually cooks, but so far, things are looking pretty good.
I’ll probably buy a dip on the 9th if we get one.
$e/acc
I don’t think people realize how key Hyperliquid’s infra is to having fun in the trenches again.
@AscendLaunch gives you a direct path from launch to an Ascended listing, then a HyperCore spot listing, HIP-3 perps and eventually a shot at becoming an Ascend strategic partner.
Congrats to the e/acc team

Things are going to get very silly for $KNTQ and $HYPE.
