Celebrated my birthday (4/2) in South Africa while mentoring from 9k miles away. That effort paid off: my PhD student, Alex Cerda, received a 2nd %ile on his F31 to study RNA decay kinetics during motor neuron differentiation. Couldn’t be more proud! 👨🏽‍🔬 #MentorshipWithoutBorders
