I was the other journalist on this press call with Andrew, and I completely agree. All this time later, our conversation with @MarkDuplass and Sydney Fleischmann is still one of the most fun and unique experiences I’ve had after more than a dozen years covering horror.
HBO once invited me to a press call for Room 104. Only one other journalist showed up. Instead of rushing us or being annoyed, Mark Duplass said “Let’s have some fun today”. Duplass proceeded to give us his undivided attention for the next hour, giving us personalized, detailed answers & also asking us questions. It was a blast.
