This week’s ep is on The Darien Scheme, an audacious attempt by the Scottish to set up a colony in one of the harshest environments on Earth. It went so badly that it bankrupted the entire nation! (I did not know that last part when I chose to do the topic live in Scotland!)
The third most voted for episode of Block 2024 is all about the founder of Mongol Empire, Genghis Khan! Out now on your podcast app
New episode is out! It features @wikipediabrown and is all about prohibition in America, a very strange era! Things did not go well! This was the 4th most voted for topic this year!
