📣 We are pleased to welcome Eduard Quintana, the new Chair of the European Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery (EBCTS)!

A consultant cardiovascular surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Barcelona Medical School – Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, Eduard brings extensive experience in cardiothoracic surgery, education and certification.

As he begins his three-year term, Eduard shares his vision for the future of EBCTS certification, from strengthening international recognition of the examination to supporting consistent standards of surgical training and patient care worldwide.
