As Secretary-General of the @eu_eeas, my role is to support HR/VP @kajakallas and turn EU priorities into action. The EEAS must be part of the solution to make sure that EU foreign policy delivers better results.

So let’s get to work and stay in touch!

On this day of national mourning after the horrific attacks in Kraków, we stand with Poland. Our flags at the European quarter in Brussels fly at half-mast in honour of the victims, their families and loved ones, and the brave first responders.

Stronger than hatred.
Stronger than extremism.

This morning, Europe woke up in grief and disbelief after yesterday’s horrific attack in Krakow.

Our flags fly at half-mast in honour of the victims and the brave first responders.

They stand for European unity and solidarity.

Stronger than hatred.
Stronger than extremism.

My Tour des Capitales has brought me to Sweden and Finland 🇸🇪🇫🇮🇪🇺

It is great to be in the North of Europe. It reminds me how important the Arctic, maritime security and collective defence are.

Discussions with the key partners are essential to advance on the mutual priorities.

Really nice to meet the new UK Ambassador to the EU @CWilson_FCDO and have a great exchange of views on EU–UK relations. Lots of common ground and exciting opportunities to strengthen our partnership. Looking forward to working together!

I agree with @AmbCaiRun to continue our open and frank discussions about bilateral as well as geopolitical concerns & opportunities. Thankful that we are both looking toward preparing the ground for further political exchanges beyond key trade issues. 🇪🇺🇨🇳
