At @EduCannotWait High-Level Replenishment Conference in Geneva, governments announced $405.8M in new pledges. Together with $135.8M secured through earlier multi-year commitments, this brings our #HopeStartsHere campaign to 90% of its US$600 million target.

Thank you to every government and partner that stepped forward, and to #Switzerland for hosting. With the target now within reach, we’ll keep working to close the gap and reach 10 million crisis-affected children with safe, quality education!

The day is HERE!

In Geneva, governments, youth and strategic partners are coming together for @EduCannotWait’s High-Level Replenishment Conference.

Our goal is to mobilise US$600 million to reach 10 million crisis-affected children with safe, quality education from 2027 to 2030. It’s a concrete first step towards reaching millions more children whose education has been disrupted by conflict, displacement and disasters.

Predictable funding helps children continue learning when crises strike.

From our emergency response in #Nepal to this week’s replenishment conference in Geneva, our goal is clear: safe, quality education for crisis-affected girls and boys.

#HopeStartsHere

“I see how much education means in bringing hope where there was only hopelessness.”

After 40 years as a humanitarian worker, @NRC_Egeland, Secretary General of @NRC_Norway, has witnessed the power of #education in the world’s toughest crises.

Together, @EduCannotWait and partners like #NRC help children return to learning, even in the most difficult circumstances.

Through #ECW's #HopeStartsHere campaign, we call on global leaders and partners to invest in education for children caught in conflict, displacement and disaster. Their futures cannot wait.
