🔄 DROID TRADING
Droid Trading is a new multiplayer feature that allows players to exchange Droids with one another through a dedicated Trading Station. Select a Droid, review the trade, confirm the cost and complete the exchange! This has been a heavily requested feature and we will be posting additional info soon!

⚔️ GLADIATOR ARENA
The Gladiator Arena is a permanent, co-op combat activity that introduces a new progression path. Earn rewards like cosmetics, new weapons, currency and even exclusive Droids by fighting through endless and escalating waves of enemies and bosses.

+ Trade Droids with other players above the Pickaxe Vender!
+ The player receiving the higher-value Droid pays the difference.
+ Each Droid can only be traded once.

🤖 TUTORIAL REVAMP

+ Active Playtime Reward! Actively play for 15 minutes and a Nova Crystal Crate will appear in your base!
+ Fusion Droids now count toward the rebirth Droid requirements of their components (IF X-ONK counts for KX & Gonk).
+ Fusion Recipes are now available in the Droidex.
+ Improved the collision on Blueprint Storage.
+ Fixed an issue causing lag spikes under certain circumstances.

Play in your Workshop and watch the crates roll in. A playtime timer keeps spawning currency crates in your base all weekend! 📦

Scourgedex Feedback & Changes

During Gonk-O-Ween, we introduced the Scourgedex, allowing players to collect Scourge Droids throughout the week and hand them in to Scourge Prime for rewards.

Our original vision was to build toward the weekend finale, where Scourge Prime would betray the players and everyone would work together to defeat him. As part of that story, Scourgedex hand-ins were disabled during the battle, since it wouldn't make much sense to continue helping someone who had just betrayed you.

While this made sense to us from a narrative and design perspective, we underestimated how important the Scourgedex rewards and progression were to players.

The feedback regarding disabled hand-ins during the finale, and the Friday-only availability, has been overwhelmingly negative.

We hear you, and we recognize that we missed the mark. We prioritized the narrative experience over what many players actually enjoyed about the system. That's on us.

So, we're making some changes! You can expect these changes to come TODAY!

Scourgedex Available Every Day!
Scourgedex hand-ins will now be available every day!

Hand in Scourge Droids for currencies AND Blueprint Boxes, just like during Gonk-O-Ween.

You can now collect and hand in Scourge Droids throughout the entire week without having to wait for Friday.

Scourge Fridays Are Still Coming!
Fridays will now offer additional rewards and an unlimited progression loop for players who want to grind the scourgedex!

Scourgedex Resets
- Once you've fully completed your Scourgedex, visit Scourge Prime in the outskirts of the map to reset it and start again!
- Every reset rewards 500 Nova Crystals & +1 Permanent Hive Mind Bonus.
- Complete your Scourgedex as many times as you want.
- First-time completion rewards, including exclusive Base Paints and Crystal rewards, cannot be earned again.

Additional Friday Bonuses:
- World Mission cooldowns reduced from 30 minutes to 15 minutes.
- World Missions become Scourged, rewarding Scourge Crates!
- Scourge Droids will naturally spawn on the conveyor.

Why These Changes?
After hearing the feedback and understanding what the players expect, the Scourgedex should be something you can always progress toward, rather than something you're forced to complete within a limited window.

At the same time, we want Fridays to feel special by offering additional rewards and progression opportunities on top of the normal game, similar to our existing Tuesday and Thursday bonuses.

The repeatable Scourgedex also provides an alternative way to earn meaningful amounts of Nova Crystals for players who prefer collecting Droids over grinding Super Rebirths.

And even if Scourge collecting isn't your thing, Fridays will still be an excellent day for World Missions!

Ultimately, we want to support different ways to enjoy Droid Tycoon, whether that's rebirthing, collecting, completing your Droidex.
