Our annual KYC refresh is underway, and it’s a reminder for our customers and our own team of why we believe in KYC so strongly. We launched Foundry USA Pool to bring an institutional-grade mining pool to market, which meant building infrastructure our customers could defend to their boards, auditors and regulators.

Verifying every participant, every year, is a security standard we set so our customers can be confident they're mining alongside other vetted and trustworthy entities.

Over the weekend, @tether announced broad industry backing for its Mining Development Kit (MDK). MDK is an open-source framework that gives Bitcoin mining hardware, pools, and software a common language, so developers and AI agents can work across the whole industry, ushering in a new generation of mining automation.

Foundry has built an MDK Worker for Foundry USA Pool, giving MDK users live visibility into their pool accounts. We’re proud to be part of the effort to further standardize and mature the broader mining ecosystem.

Our first Zakura nodes went into production for Foundry Zcash Pool earlier this week and are already producing 65% of the blocks we mine. The transition is well underway, with more to come! 🚀
