How many linemen does it take to build an adaptive bike? 🚲 Most days, our Dublin crews are building and maintaining the lines that power our communities. But for one special project each year, they put those same skills to work building something a little smaller... but just as impactful.
Over the years, adaptive bike donations have become a signature Citizens Legacy project for our Dublin team and a tradition we are proud to continue year after year. Through these donations, we help children with disabilities experience the joy, freedom, and independence of riding a bike while providing a safe way to play, explore, build confidence, and even continue physical therapy at home.
As Dublin Engineer Matthew Bowen shared, "Every child deserves the opportunity to experience the excitement of riding a bike. Our Adaptive Bike Donation Project helps make that possible by providing specialized bicycles to children who may otherwise be unable to ride, creating opportunities for recreation, exercise, and enjoyment."
We're honored to help create more first rides, bigger smiles, and memories that last a lifetime. ✨
