Kahlil Watson was seen this week by Dr. William Meyers in Philadelphia, PA to confirm the presence of a core muscle injury (sports hernia). Following a clinical evaluation, Dr. Meyers recommended surgical intervention to address the injury.

Surgery was performed Tuesday (10/20) to repair the bilateral core muscle injury. Khalil will initiate rehabilitation this week in Goodyear, AZ. The return to play timeframe in similar cases is 8-to-12 weeks.
