Yesterday @ORE Reserve dropped by 45k. But that amount didn't disappear out of the thin air. The Reserve bought back and buried 400+ $ORE off the market. Meanwhile near 22k in liquidity were added to PoL pools (Protocol owned Liquidity) and the Reserve earned $800+ in fees.View quoted post on X
Where did the name $ORE actually come from?View quoted post on X
It's a nod to Nicole Oresme (1320-1382). His core argument back then: money belongs to the public, not the state.
Today, $ORE is executing that exact 700-year-old philosophy on-chain with a fair-launch, hard-capped protocol on Solana.
JitoSOL now backs part of the ORE Reserve.View quoted post on X
Part of the ORE Reserve’s SOL allocation now earns yield as JitoSOL while supporting ORE buy-side liquidity.
The Jito Foundation has also added ORE to its treasury.
As a 2017 crypto entrant, I never thought we’d see the likes of “the next Bitcoin” catch a bid again.View quoted post on X
I asked Bitwise CIO, Matt Hougan, for his view here.
He says the digital SoV market will end up looking like metals: Bitcoin on top, with Zcash behind it, others following.
“It’s going to be like the precious metals market.”
“There will be Bitcoin which will be the dominant factor, and then there will be Zcash.”
“And then there will probably be a few other slivers that are slightly smaller.”
“That’s the natural part of a growing market.”
