A patch has been established to fix the upgrade path issues form Switch 1 to Switch 2!

Steps below:

1) Launch the Switch 1 version of the game (Friends Pass or Full Game) on a switch 2.

2) Once you are on the Main Menu, press "Y" as prompted to access the Nintendo eShop and get the Switch 2 version (Friends Pass or Full Game).

3) Claim the Switch 2 version (Friends Pass or Full Game) from the Nintendo eShop.

For Nintendo Switch players who already own It Takes Two:

We’re aware of an issue affecting free upgrades from the physical Nintendo Switch cartridge to the Nintendo Switch 2 version, and the team is working on a fix.

In the meantime, we’ve confirmed that the following workaround works. Please follow the instructions below. Thanks for your patience!🙏

@HazelightGames Hi, i used the last workaround to get the Switch 2 version.

However, now with the new fix it still do not have the Digital Switch 2 Version claimed as mine.

I have the Friends pass version but when i open it is the full one. Confusing.

Is this behaviour right?
