Good. But it’s five months too late. Democrats did nothing as Speaker Welch protected his Democrat friends and political allies amid allegations of sexual harassment, political favoritism and a culture that protected powerful men instead of staffers.

That hasn’t changed. Illinois Democrats still need to held accountable, provide full transparency, restore trust in government and stop this from ever happening again.

Before sunrise. After work. One more door. One more call.

Illinois Republicans showed up for their candidates, their neighbors, and their communities.
