APXP 60/100 program top 5. Congrats to the athletes on our program top 5! What makes our top 5 board different? ⬇️
** Like a college record board, only outdoor races WITH a wind gauge (AND legal wind readings) can produce a wind legal race and be eligible for our record board. WE DON’T ACCEPT wind aided runs (winds 2.1 and above) or runs without a wind gauge at the meet (NWI - no wind instrument). Having wind gauges at Texas UIL HS meets are rare. ** When it comes to results, we are 100% transparent! Beware of people including fraudulent wind aided/NWI marks, they are trying to INFLATE their performances. #FactsAreFriendly
What’s amazing to us are the names of eventual NCAA All Americans who are now OUTSIDE the top 5!
Athletes/ Parents: if you want to know what your wind legal marks are (or someone else’s), go to Milesplit, click on outdoor rankings, click on the FAT/Wind legal tab to find out. The FAT tab will contain wind AIDED marks and marks with NWI. Saying “I was at the meet and the wind wasn’t blowing” doesn’t make it a wind legal race.
