Some interesting penalty flags on Montana State’s game tying regulation drive negated a turnover on downs and Idaho State interception.

Realistically the only chance left for a Montana State loss would be in the Brawl of the Wild (at Northern Colorado next week)

#FCS Top 25 final:

No. 3 Montana State 28
No. 22 Idaho State 26 (3OT)

MSU survives and improves to 9-1 while getting its 3rd ranked victory. Not always pretty, but key to get a win and keep home-field advantage attainable after being the selection committee’s No. 1 team. Idaho State falls to 6-4.

#FCS Top 25 final:

No. 13 Lamar 45
No. 2 SFA 28

A huge result that will shake up the Top 8 seed picture. SFA was ranked No. 3 and Lamar was No. 10 in this week's FCS playoff committee's Top 10

SFA is now 9-1 overall, while Lamar improves to 8-2 overall and 8-1 vs. the FCS

Aiden McCown throws for 307 yards and 3 TDs in the win. SFA QB Gavin Rutherford left the game with an injury in the 2nd half and did not return
