This week, we broke ground on Intermountain Health Felicia and Ben Horowitz Children’s Hospital, Nevada’s first stand-alone children’s hospital.
But this moment is about far more than a building.
It’s about changing what’s possible for children and families across Nevada and the nation by bringing more specialized pediatric care closer to home and creating a future where families can focus on what matters most: helping their child heal.
And the impact reaches beyond one state. From Primary Children’s Hospitals in Utah to the pediatric care we provide in Billings, Montana at St. Vincent’s Regional Hospital, we are continuing to build a more connected system around children and families, bringing together expertise, innovation, and a shared commitment to helping every child have the healthiest future possible.
Made possible by families, caregivers, community leaders, philanthropists and so many others who believe children deserve the best care, this moment represents something bigger. This isn’t simply about building another hospital. It’s about continuing to build and expand the nation’s model health system for children.
The ground is broken. The future is being built. And children and families are at the heart of it all.
