For as long as I’ve been a surgeon, I’ve been told that to be successful, one has to be a “triple threat.” But I wish to tell future surgeons to instead “Choose Your Own Threat” - and bring those diverse passions into surgery, even if they’re different jamanetwork.com/journals/jamas…
