In business, if consumers stop buying your product you would make changes or go bankrupt. In politics when voters reject your campaign you should probably hear them and make changes. There are members of my party who say just double down and ignore the voters.

Those who curse me or others out when we express an opinion on a post, you have to wonder what happened to them in second grade. Respectful dialogue and issue oriented debate makes sense…instead some engage in social media “road rage”. I hope someday that changes.

I understand why certain members of my Republican Party will not accept the strong message sent by the voters yesterday. They cannot admit change is necessary because their entire identity is tied to their politics. They could loose followers if they speak the truth.

To all the members of my party who have made excuse after excuse when we lost……Good luck spinning this outcome. Let’s get back to our core Republican values and stand up to anyone in either party who engages in hateful speech. Let’s follow the model set by John McCain.
