The irony is uninformed politicians who don't know how integral AI agents will be for the average person or business will raise the price on them by constraining the supply as the demand shoots up. They live in taxpayer bubbles where they get human assistants making their calls, doing their schedules, ordering their lunch, reading their research - no need to ever interface with Grokbot. Wealth disparities will explode as people who can afford access will leap over their competition. Countries that provide infrastructure to produce cheap power to operate datacenters will have workers that have logarithmic advantages (China). It's like suddenly inventing the car but limiting how many factories can build them.
I’m fighting to block a proposed 400-megawatt data center from being built on federal land at NAVWAR, here in San Diego. If built, this would be the largest data center in the state. Our community has been clear: we don’t want this!View quoted post on X

Pour one out for the guys whose wives are divorcing them for spending their savings on AI tokens. May their science fiction films see at least 48 hours before it is reiterated and reskinned by a 14 year old in Bakersfield.
I've been using GrokBot for 2 weeks and I'm already going through the $260 a month for Grok Ultra. If you can't afford AI assistants, you're fucked.
The fundamental asset an actor must have to play James Bond is good hair. Connery knew this and wore a toupee to alpha. Only Pattinson and Lowden have mog hair.
