Nope. Don’t want to do away with anything.

Just want to add ‘Black English’, ‘Asian English’, ‘Mixed English’ etc. as options, too.

They’ve done the equivalent in Scotland and Wales. We should do it here in England, too.

No options are taken away. ‘White - English’ stays exactly as it is.

They’ve done the equivalent in the Scotland + Wales censuses with no issues.

I say no.

My St. George’s Bill that I’m putting forward in Parliament on Tuesday will settle this question, once and for all.

Let’s let non-White people identify as ethnically English in the census.

Let’s have this debate out in the Commons.
