From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Upstate New York, for the honor of continuing to represent you in Congress.
To everyone who has been part of our campaign, please know how incredibly grateful I am for your support and encouragement. I could not do this without you, and not a day goes by when I’m not truly humbled to know we’re all in this together.
To everyone who did not vote for me, please know that I will always do my best to do right by you, too, and to earn your trust. Upstate New York raised me to know that what matters is not red or blue but is working hard and being kind. No matter how you voted, you’re an Upstate New Yorker, and that means more to me than anything.
I also want to congratulate Senator Oberacker on his campaign. Despite a knee injury and other challenging circumstances, Senator Oberacker fought hard not just for what he believes in, but also and especially for his beautiful grandkids who no doubt are proud of him for stepping up to serve. I’ll welcome the opportunity to work with the Senator on our shared priorities of protecting Upstate farmland, making sure our dairy farmers get fair prices for their work, and expanding school-based healthcare for kids.
I’m eager and honored to continue this work, to continue to put Upstate New York first, and to show the country all that makes our community so truly special.
I've been blown away by the volunteers who have shown up for us across Upstate! Rain or shine, you've knocked doors, made calls, and put your hearts into this campaign. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
