Even though it's gauche to talk about, I see posts from a handful of individuals discussing @themutualfun floor price. So let's talk about it. Even though we aren't "supposed to".

First, the tough part to hear. It's going to go lower. It just will. This is a long-term project, and the sacrifice we make in the marathon of building is not having early, short-term bursts. We have to conserve energy.

There is nothing wrong with thinking about and discussing floor price, but it's clear when it's being done out of genuine interest vs. engagement farming. Floor price DOES matter, though, as much as I don't want to spend my day seeing people talk about it 😅. It's one of our standardized KPIs across our industry to gauge interest and value in NFTs.

But horizon (timeline) matters more. And we've gone out of our way to warn people about the longer outlook on TMF.

If this spooks you, you think I'm going to just "disappear," or you can't afford to hold the NFT for the long haul, now is a great time to find a good exit. No judgment. I have a WETH floor at .03 ETH for disclosure; feel free to WETH into those bids. Or dump it into the AMM and generate fees for the funds in the process.

Now, the good part. This is normal and expected, and we don't factor it into how we build long-term. It's free money in Web3. We are 3.5x our mint, which we consider healthy. People who don't believe in us (or things in general) will take the easy cash. And that's gud fees for the funds!

Dengs minted for 11 $APE in Jan 2025. I watched it dip below the mint price, with over 2500 Dengs listed at one point (yes, over 50% of the collection).

Did that stop me? No. I built dozens of tools, games, activations, and more for hodlers, and after a year and a half, we sat at a steady 150x our floor price. The people who believed the most benefited the most.

If you don't believe I can or will do the same sort of things with TMF, then IDK what to tell you other than to sit back and enjoy the show. I relish the opportunity to prove you wrong.
