LBJ Women's Campaign School

Congratulations to Representative Senfronia Thompson on announcing she has the votes to become the first woman and Black lawmaker to serve as Speaker of the Texas House! We were honored to present her with a 2026 Lone Star Legacy Award and celebrate her trailblazing leadership.

Our Executive Director, Hope Osborn, had the opportunity to speak with @willdupreetv about big wins for LBJWCS this election! With 16 candidates on the ballot and 8 victories, we’re still celebrating these incredible women and can’t wait to see them in office!

Congratulations to the eight LBJWCS alumni who won their races! We cannot wait to see you put the skills gained through campaign school to work as you continue serving and leading your communities. We are proud to be part of your journey! 🤘🧡
