Today, the Lisk Chain officially shut down.

The Lisk Portal and Lisk Bridge are now closed, and the rest of the chain is being switched off behind them.

For ten years, Lisk built onchain alongside the developers, stakers and holders who made it what it is. Everything we learned now goes into the new Lisk: the modern finance platform for businesses, where fiat and stablecoins work together in one place.

$LSK continues as the loyalty token of Lisk, on Ethereum. The ~5.23M unassigned $LSK left in the staking rewards pool will be burned, further reducing total supply.

Thank you to everyone who built on, staked on and used the Lisk Chain. Ten years brought us to today, and what lies ahead has never been more exciting.
